Worked one time on fresh batteries and charged my Iphone 3gs from 50% to full charge. It won't do anything now. Product is useless. After that the batteries are dead.
Does not work with iPod 2nd generation. Do not buy if you have a new iPod.
Warning, this does not charge your iPod, it just provides power for it to run off of. This means that if your iPod's battery is dead, you can plug this in and use the iPod, but when you unplug it, the iPod will still be dead.
May work on older models - wasn't clear from web site that it did not work for Touch. Very disappointed.
I made the mistake of comparing what was sold in the store to what was sold by Shopcell on Amazon. Not to be compared with store brand quailty. Batteries are not rechargable. Also, when Shopcell was asked to send batteries and user guide, only the batteries were received.
In defense of Amazon, they responded quickly to my no battery situation. In summation, no rechargable batteries. I immediately looked it up on Amazon. Problems with shipping. After receiving it I found it to have no batteries. $29.00.
It was 50 cents. Complained and was mailed batteries. Also be aware that even if you did use rechargable batteries, you could not charge them in the plastic battery pack. Not really compatible with iPhone. I looked at the Griffin battery pack in Best Buy. I purchased thru Amazon.
And the Best Buy (rechargable) pack will work with iPhones and this one is not recommended.
